I'm inclined to agree. But then, it's unlikely that the people voting are taking the movie in isolation. They'll be looking at it as part of the ongoing story. And maybe in that context it has earnt its score? No doubt the score will drop a bit as the weeks pass; it happened with a number of other Marvel movies.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the Marvel movies but i'm very objective with my scores. The scale of what Marvel has managed is excellent but scored on an individual basis I struggle to give any of them really high scores.

Winter Soldier was the pinnacle for me, got everything right...Civil War was a dismal mess with a lackluster villain and a war/scrap in an airport.

Iron Man 2/3 for me are pretty much the worst of the whole lot, closely followed by First Avenger.

in that regard I like iron man the most out of the the avengers therefore I may have a slight bias
 
Only marvel films that are genuinely brilliant are. GotG 1, Iron Man 1 and possibly Thor ragnarok. The rest are spread between OK and good.

Never understood the love for the winter soldier or civil war myself but each to their own.
 
Can’t wait for Saturday night, I’m already boycotting Facebook for fear of spoilers :D
 
Managed to dodge spoilers until this afternoon once i had seen it. Not been on youtube for 3 days but struggled to find any videos on it! Bonus!

Taking my son tomorrow and a boy that sits on his table at school was going last night. I just know that little **** is going to spoiler it today for my son.
 
I was meant to have physio this morning but it was cancelled, so I was tempted to use the time to go on a sneaky early morning visit to the cinema until I remembered it was nearly 3hrs long :D
 
Might go see this after work as I finish at 4 on Friday, I can't keep dodging all the spoilers all weekend!
