Rec Room is good, because you can play games as well as socialise.
There's also AltspaceVR and VR Chat.

Also Big Screen is good for watching movies together.

Oculus Venues has the best default avatars I've seen but that's Quest only unfortunately.

Not exactly what we were thinking, but it looks relaxed enough that you don't have to play if you don't want to. And quite a lot of fun.

OK, just tried gorilla tag. Ignoring the problematic kids that get everywhere, the fact you can setup a private lobby I believe, makes this a decent game to hang out in. Really satisfying as you master the skills to move around, only problem is all the movement! I've banged a few things now, and managed to jolt enough to shake the powerbank off the back of my headset! I'll be securing that even more tightly now. Ton of fun though! And you don't even have to play, just goof around etc.

48 here and been using VR since the Rift CV1 released and now also own the Rift S. My buddy has one and he is 46. I know a guy at work that is 21 and he has the vive. He knows several people his age with them.
I assume it is due to money.
