Yeah the controllers are sold on their own, no remote, no adapter etc., so you'd need to pick up whatever you're missing.

edit- does anyone know where you can buy ONLY the IR receiver? THey only seem to be sold in packs with the remote too, which I dont need!

Sorry to revive this thread but im not sure how to wire the molex wires I don't want to break anything can anybody show me a detailed picky of the molex please.

Been looking at this after being disgusted by the prices of LED Strips these days... (Back in my day etc)

The ones most commonly found now are the little square boxes:

Any idea if they store the colour (and brightness) between off / on again?
That would be a dealbreaker if not.

I use a block like that, it stores everything - no problems here
