Not like you didn't see it coming. If I were going to ask for opinions on tattoos this would be the last place I'd post.
I've posted them in several places to see the differing reactions. Its quite interesting....

Goddamn, I love OCUK's predictability
Show anyone who knows tattoos and the response is entirely positive for the guy's work (especially considering the fact that he is only 22 years old), show this merry band of keyboard enthusiasts and you get the usual tripe about 'they will regret it', 'what about when they're 60?' and 'that's average'.

PS: Miami Ink is crap, the artists are average at best (that's a genuine average) and that show and it's ilk are ruining an industry.

Not everyone likes tattoo's my friend
Including me. I think they all look awful.

I agree that yes people do attack individuals based on how they look, and lets face it tattoos do affect that. It's just slightly insulting when the usual crap about 'regret' is bandied about; it is a direct attack on the individual by someone who knows nothing about them.

I'm not expecting everyone to. Life would be dull if we all agreed on everything.

Penski i've been meaning to ask you... looking for a black/grey inkist in the south east. It's an intricate piece with a lot of different shades of black and grey. I'm not really even sure how possible it is or how it will scale over time.
Anyone in particular you think i should talk to? Price doesn't matter too much, but it'd needn't be the guy that inks celebrities for a living... iukwim.

That notion aside; do you not agree that there is the danger of regret? Given the skins tendancy to age?

Which is better than anything you posted imo!
Having seen a lot of Garvers work I have to disagree with you.
Who did do the work in the OP?

I can see that you'd think it patronising.Only if you regret getting older. Everyone knows that your skin changes as you age and I'm pretty sure that NOBODY gets a tattoo thinking that it will look pristine for life. I think it is quite patronising to assume that age=regret.
