Don't think it's anything other than the fact Ferrari don't quite have a handle on the characteristics of the car and are needing to run it at the top end to figure it out.

That tow is worth quite a chunk. Agreed but leclerc's fault for not being there to capitalise, it's a shame really. I think Merc have this season in the bag, Ferrari are just throwing away any chance at a tight battle either through poor strategy, driver error or faults. Yes Merc may have these issues later but they are going to build up quite a commanding lead before then I suspect.

I've actually had that happen in my truck. I drove over a double manhole cover on the way out of Swindon and... BANG !!! Clanga Clang. I thought it must've done some serious damage underneath but apart from knocking the tracking out (£300 to reset) everything was ok.

Interesting to see what leclerc can do tomorrow only one on medium in the top 10 so he can go long in the first stint.

Shame as he looked good for pole but will be fun to see him race up the pack.

Will he start in the top 10 though? Depends on what work needs doing to the car.

If he does, those tyres are obviously gone, and he'll have to use a set of mediums he's previously done some laps on. Presumably they will be in a much worse state than the ones he had in qualy

Pretty much this. If Lewis out-starts Bottas I genuinely believe he'll pull away and just manage the gap.

Really not happy with coverage, I watched half the qualifying at someone's house and omg what a **** Croft is, finished it at home and what a **** Eddie Jordan is, and as I type this what's-his-name on C4 has just plugged Sky's live coverage obviously by demand, it's just all a bit of a mess really. What to do...Watch live and put up with master moron, or watch the empty, lifeless 'highlights' many hours later...
