Yup. I had X amount of money available and wanted the best GPU I could get for it. I offered on a few cards but actually ended up with something else.

It depends, some of the older stuff still has the original pricing so any "discount" is tricky.

33% off in one case recently. Then another where I got around the same. It depends on what it is, how long they've had it in stock and as long as your offer isn't truly stupid. You're not going to get a returned 4090 for £800 for example.

My rule of thumb is aim for 'VAT free' or 20% off.

I was thinking of sending an offer offer 250 for the card and prolly get ban by ocuk.
I missed the sale when the 7800xt was below 400, will just need to wait for it again.
