B Grade GPU

Most of them are returned due to coil whine, poor clocking results or general instability, given the saving isn't huge you'd have to be mad to buy one IMHO :D

After 12 months overclockers say it is quicker to deal with them direct, so far with my RMA I have had no problem with them.
Is that with Gigabyte?

I believe with the mini-ITX GTX960 and G1 GRX960 its nearly £50 to £60 cheaper for them both.

Hi, just for your info. EVGA do give on all KR products three years of warranty, also for second hand user. If you have a copy of the originally invoice you get three years from that date, if not we give three years from the date the card left our warehouse. So if you can find a good deal on a EVGA card at the second hand market it is might worth it. 960/970/980s are just out there for about a year so there would still be about two years of warranty left if you get one second hand.

Good to know, this is awesome :)

If you can provide proof that you bought the card from B Grade at OCUK. If there is remaining warranty beyond the 90 days then Gigabyte would cover it?
And that stands for B-Grade as well as normal purchases?

As long as it's within the 3 years.

The proof of purchase is what i am missing, gigabyte have offered to attempt a repair though. Do you think it's worth the cost of sending it in? Are most repair attempts successful?

You don't have anything at all?
I don't know if it's worth it, you can probably get a better idea from whoever you are in touch with from RMA.

I love reading the rep posts on here. Fills you with faith to buy, especially eVGA items. So while you weren't talking to me with this, thanks anyway! ;)

i've had okay experiences of b grade.. my boss got a 970 for just over 200 quid that works great, and I also got a cheap r7 something a while back for someone.. it came damaged, with a bent pcb! but on a part that didn't actually have anything on it and that thing overclocks like crazy

Thanks to the OP for this thread (: Now I know Gigabyte will give remaining warranty on B-Grade graphics cards I picked up an 4GB GTX 960 for £110. Got delivered today and working great so far. This will do great as a stop gap until a die shrink finally, eventually arrives..

What are the return policies like on B-Grade items? Do they have the 14 day money back guarantee? For example i bought one of the ROG Swifts, but it came with dead pixels, could i send it back for a full refund?
Also, if i got the B-Grade 980 and it came with an obvious fault what would happen?

I bought an LG 29 inch ultrawide B-Grade a while ago, it looked as though it had been opened, put together and sent back, perfect monitor! Absolute bargain aswell
