** B-Grade Warranty - Extended to 90 days **

90 days thats so much better. I would like to add it seems ocuk have got their act together by putting b grade prices down.

For example I have 5 R2E boards. 3 Have accessories 2 do not. However 2 out of the 3 with accessories have 1 SATA cable less and the 3rd board with accessories doesn't have an I/O shield.

More work yes as I said above if i could have a way of stating I would like one with an I/O shield I would order one now. How you could sort that out I do not have any suggestions but there is a large portion of this thread with people saying the same thing.

For other accessories like sata cables etc I couldn't care less and for other products like graphics cards and hard drives im again not bothered about accessories some things are more important to people than others. I/O shield seems to be a common issue.

wow this is getting very trivia, if you not happy with the decision of OCUK b grade then go and buy the full retail, as they said nothing in life is free, if you see the price is reduce just take it as sometime major could be missing, and if you get everything in the box minus the manual who gives a kick especially is you have save 30-45 pound or even 10-15 pound............... for example a graphic cards what would be important the main item or the connectors and Drivers????

Treat the item in B-Grade like ex display, what you see is what you get, in the sense of the main item is there and maybe some bits.....my person view i would say b-grade would be for people who is looking to replace the same item, if i am incorrect Don please correct me.

Thankyou. You actually understand the point of B-Grade!

But thats the point surely, you don't get to see so other than assuming that you get "the main item", you can only hope that everything else "you" deem necessary is there.

I agree that with a GPU, all you really need is the card but I also agree that Mobo's generally have more peripheral extras that some may require.

When all's said & done, and unless you stand to make a massive saving, only you can decide whether it's worth taking the gamble.:)

OcUK will work on the basis that the B Grade stock could be complete it could be without drivers, it could be without cables. That notwithstanding it is still functional. Will it work without drivers ?? Yes because you can download them from the manufacturers website. Will it work without cables ???? Well you should be able to buy them etc etc etc. You see where I am going with this.

Seriously guys you are getting more now for your money in terms of warranty and support. If you buy B Grade stock and you see it as a lottery then don't buy it. Pay the market rate and buy the full brand new product. If not pay the B Grade price and get the B grade stock.

With the greatest respect to the detractors, when OcUK gets a repaired board back from one of their suppliers it will not come with any of the accessories. So why should OcUK start including accessories in B Grade stock :s At the very least it will serve the purpose

Brand New Full Retail > A Grade Stock > B Grade Stock in terms of price, accessories with it and warranty included, it's really not that difficult to grasp.

I think the point some people are trying to make it if you went to a retail shop for ex display you could see what you get. With OcUK you can't, so a motherboard may be a bit cheaper but if it doesn't come with sata cables for example you may need to go and buy some which then doesn't make it such a good deal.

Personally, I do see the point of grade B items, I would expect 99% of people on here are enthusiasts so have enough spare cables lying around, know where to find drivers really easily and missing IO shields who cares that much, they are most of the time out of sight.

When i went to buy a B grade board i called in the shop asked them to check contents of the boxed and they refused so one rule for one and another rule for others.

Not at all just get them to order it through from the warehouse and open the box up before you hand over your debit card or cash. Ive done it loads of times with motherboards and never had an issue yet. :)

i would be intrested in the **B Grade** Asus Rampage III Extreme Intel X58,but by not knowing whats missing i find that a big risk, i would want to know if the i/o shield was in there atleast as thats a big part to be missing unless you like a great big hole at the back, sata leads i can go without as i have many.

Is there suppose to be a motherboard in the cases section? :D

And do the prices get updated in the b grade bit? only when i saw a case in there once it was more than the one in the normal section :S

ive noticed lots of times before that B Grade items have been more expensive than buying new which is silly.
