Babies...

one of the top 10 most pospular now i think

when me and the missus chose it we went through the entire book seperately and it was the only boys name we both picked out :p

so when he was born decision was an easy one :p

I loved loads of boys names but Cliff didn't, it was the only one we agreed on. He was nearly Christian, well if Cliff liked it he would have been :p Our first son is Morgan so he took the boys name we had ready :p Caitlin is our girl. We had the first two names ready from before I was pregnant but with Ethan it took until a couple of weeks before he was born, I hated not having a name for him.

Try choosing a name for a child when you have 4 very opinionated older kids in the house. whatever name we came up with they all hated. ethan was the only name we came up with. Glad we didin't have a girl:D

Hehe :p Ethan is a lovely and wonderful name though :D

 Can I ask why?
I ****ing hate kids...I would have thought that this would be patently obvious by now.

You might change your mind one day and the longer you leave it the less chance a reversal has to work. I know you feel now that you won't but in 15 year or 10 you may feel differently. Plus they can also fail so you still need a condom if you want to be sure.
I still wear them. Had jizztests done that show it worked though :p

The 'oh you'll change your mind' comment is almost as condescending as 'you'll change your mind and want kids later...' when saying you don't want kids...

But as this thread has degenerated into people posting photos of their hideous meat sacks, I'm offski. To bed. To have non-procreative sex. Oooh the scandal.

Am I the only one that thinks babies (Yes, human babies) are the most disgusting and horrible creatures on this planet? They make me feel ill, I shudder with disgust everytime I see one. How can anyone think they are cute? They're so GOD DAMN UGLY it's untrue! And the crying, the constant incessant crying...arrgghhh horrible horrible horrible KILL THEM WITH FIRE!

well, atleast we know you can;t be a peado with that attitude to wards then :p

My brother has 3 and they take over the house even though they are strict parents ,I can't have a conversation with him without interruption of some kind !
It was great to see them at christmas but it was real nice to get back to my nice quite house , I don't ever want to live with kids !

According to your profile you're only 28. Let's see how you feel in another 10 years :)

Hopefully he won't change his mind in another ten years, for the childs sake. Nearing fourty and wanting children is quite the risk, is it not? I was under the impression that the older you get, the higher the risk of birth defects.

Lots of people must hate me on this thread.

I had the termerity to have a child. I claimed child benefit and I have just taken her at 2 years old to New Zealand. 24 hours on a plane with a 2 year old...

At least it was 24 hours with my 2 year old, everyone else had 24 hours with someone elses 2 year old!

Also, I drive an incredibly dull ford mondeo, bought because of the boot space! (Not that it matters as cars don't interest me, even without kids I wouldn't have an interesting car).

Well done on getting countless other peoples holidays off to an irritating start. If it wasn't for parents like you, then the people in this thread would have no cause for complaint.

Except of course she handled it really well and didn't cause any problems at all, some of the adults were more hassle. But then as prepared parents we made sure we had enough for her to do on the flight (after she slept the first half).

And it seems that some people in this thread are complaining by the mere existence of children...

Sorry if you missed what should have been relatively obvious humour.

Given the lack of vocal intonation and facial expression it is customary to punctuate humour or other expressions with one of the (festive) smilies kindly made available to us ;)

pregnancy should be licenced.

I havn't read the whole thread, so just ignore the following if it's already been covered. But... Whilst I agree with the concept of licencing births (to cut down on the 8-child chav "families", which are slowly eating away at this country like a cancer), the problem is that it simply doesn't work.

Licensing is already in place in China, and fails because it only results in women giving birth at home and selling babies. Not because they want to, but because they can't afford the penalties. The advantage of doing this is that they face no penalties and they get money.

Sadly I doubt things would be much different here. I'm sure most people would like to think they are above 'black market babies' but if push comes to shove I would have my doubts about people in general. Not just here, but anywhere. There needs to be some way of preventing worthless chavs spawning "litters" of children, but licensing alone is not it.

And to be perfectly honest I agree (albeit only to a small degree) with the OP. Babies can be ugly and irritating.
