It has to be with butter, unless the bread is extremely fresh. Bread is too absorbent/dry otherwise. Or add a fried egg with runny yolk - then it's fine.

Warburtons Tiger Bread is nice - but you have to put the bag inside another bag to make sure it doesn't go stale quick. The standard bag has lots of airholes in the top to make sure the 'crusty' bit stays crusty, but this has the effect of drying out the whole loaf if you don't eat it in two days.

What have I stumbled into? Ketchup, on bacon? Butter, I could take that or leave it, and it's a valid question, but ketchup? I had no idea such creatures existed, never mind were in the majority - unless this is coordinated trolling.

The correct answer is no butter, with or without brown sauce - I prefer with, but can eat it without and enjoy it.

Back bacon then butter but with streaky and higher fat then just some ketchup is fine

Butter on home baked bread. Brown sauce if the mood takes me. I would also recommend Sharwoods Lime Pickle instead of sauce.
