Bahrain Grand Prix 2014, Sakhir - Race 3/19

Great driving from Lewis but both overtakes from Rosberg perfectly demonstrated everything that's wrong with DRS - it basically gifted him the overtakes and he'd have been nowhere near without it.

The stats show he has done a better job on his set up, Hamilton is having to wring his cars neck, Rosberg isn't, so Roseberg has nailed the setup much better than Hamilton. Hamilton is driving around that however, probably with cost him but to stay in front and fighting back for 1st hardly ever happens these days like we just saw and for me its refreshing.

2 great laps of racing that wouldn't have happened without it. Yep, DRS sucks

Anyone know what the 57 - 60 numbers on the Merc display mean? Seems to be some sort of driver selection.

We were talking about this in qualifying, we think it's brake bias or diff settings.

:( I mean what the hell do their [Ferrari] engineers do...This is the 6th year in a row without a front line car

Yep. Especially when you consider that they have one of the biggest budgets in F1, huge support, great drivers.

There just isnt any excuse to so consistently produce an average car.

Whether Rosberg's doing a better job in absolute terms than Hamilton isn't the issue, he's behind and it should be up to him to pass on his own merits, not get a free boost down the straight by virtue of DRS so he can throw it up the inside at the corner.

DRS is an artificial construct which nearly robbed Hamilton of the lead, twice.

And there reaction appears to be to just complain about the rules.

Same principle for Vettel...

Does the hard work to pass Railkonen without DRS but will probably get mugged on the next lap.

Wonder how long it will be before everyone enjoys this battling then they wipe each other out and everyone moans that Mercedes should have put a stop to it before it went on so long :p
