Bahrain Grand Prix 2014, Sakhir - Race 3/19

There's just no need for DRS, it was brought in as they couldn't follow closely, but the year it was brought in they could follow closely due to aero changes, and now they're less than 0.600 following, rather than the trouble days of 1.500+

Yep. Especially when you consider that they have one of the biggest budgets in F1, huge support, great drivers.

There just isnt any excuse to so consistently produce an average car.

Exactly with the budget they have they shouldn't be outperformed by force india and Williams who have significantly smaller budgets.

Anyway despite my annoyance at ferrari sucking as usual this has been quite a good race to watch.

Same goes for McLaren. This has been my big issue over the last few years - I don't blame Red Bull for producing a better car than everyone else, I blame the likes of Ferrari and McLaren for utterly failing to take the competition to them. They both need to do a lot better.

Even this year with the jumbled up order, if anyone is going to improve enough to take it to Mercedes, you know it's going to be Red Bull, not Ferrari or McLaren.

It'll be interesting to see the strategy for Hamilton. If he's 3 stopping then Rosberg has this.

They're both two stopping. They went to lap 17 and 19 I think. Which is bang on two stops. And that's with full fuel load, so they'll be lighter on these tyres and lighter again on the final set.

This access to the radio feeds is really making the drivers sound like cry baby's.

But then the penalty culture does mean its usually in your interest to complain about everything you can.
