Bahrain Grand Prix 2015, Sakhir - Race 4/19

I just don't think Ferrari have been close. It's strategy again that makes them look closer, but that will hurt towards the end.

They are the only ones that are anywhere near close though.

Alonso must be absolutely kicking himself. At least he could have been fighting for some podium positions.

Why won't they pit Kimi ffs, losing seconds every lap

A second a lap now, but think about how fast he'll be on very fresh softs vs used mediums at the end. A second a lap slower here for 5 laps could mean 3-4 seconds a lap faster per lap for 4-5 laps at the end.

Rather than the 20+ laps the others did on softs, he'll be doing 16 on lower fuel and a more rubber on the track, will be interesting pace at the end.

They should have put him on mediums much earlier. He was driving faster than Rosberg on the mediums.

Wouldn't want to be downwind of that Fauxtus.

And then the overly enthusiastic marshal standing in front of the car and with the fire extinguisher. Nutter.

If Kimi can now be a second faster a lap over this stint, or take it easy early in the stint and go mega in the final 5-6 laps he could be closer to Rosberg than it would appear.

3 seconds last lap lol.

edit:

Rosberg would have had traffic though.

Kimi just gained 2-3 seconds on Rosberg :o

that is why you might want to go very long. He was losing time but other guys dropping off on the softs were dropping into the 1:40-1:41 range, he was doing 1:39's.
