Hardly consolation for him...feel so bad for him deserved to win but no question he will win a race this season so only has to wait.

Taking 16 points from a race your car broke on is a great result. Losing the win will smart but Leclerc strikes me as a driver with surprising maturity for his age so I think he'll recognise how that he's had a lucky escape with time.

Ham should have pitted when he was 31s ahead of Bottas and it was clear that Leclerc was broken... who knows when he will get such an easy win, best to turn the knife when he can (by setting fastest lap).

Brilliant race outside of the unfortunate ending for Charles. Absolutely brilliant.

Charles really impressive post-race interview to have that cool a head.

That's a great point. Without MGU-H, fuel would have been a problem. Explains the massive pace drop, not easily explained by a 40kph drop.
