Really pleased for Leclerc. Im not going to get carried away - its a long season and Ferrari are notorious for team orders. But if Leclerc keeps up this form I cant help but think Ferrari will have to take note of the writing on the wall if they want a chance at the championship.

I guess time will tell but to be honest im rooting for Leclerc this season. I really want him to do well. I wonder if Ocon might get Sebs seat next season if Seb is outshined by Leclerc? Controversial but thats a pairing I would like to see!

Mick Schumacher seems more probable. The only real question is whether they send him to apprentice for Alfa or Haas first. Mick will be in a Ferrari soon.

Leclerc outclassing Vettel again, good on him. At this point out of the Ferrari drivers he'd be favourite for the title if he wasn't competing against both Vettel and Ferrari team orders. We've already seen how Vettel falls apart under pressure.

He needs to win the F2 championship or people will be all over him for getting to F1 via his name.

Not that they won’t anyway, but being F3 and F2 champ he can argue he’s got it on merit and tell them to do one.

Plus, it gives him another year to wait for a gap in the bigger teams (Ferrari is made for him).

Tidy lap by Leclerc but I'm not sure where Vettel's pace has gone. There was a moment in Q3 when Leclerc had just put in his first lap time for provisional pole and it cut to a shot of Vettel in the car. His reaction then already looked like one of resignation. Ricciardo 2.0?

Grosjean needs to get some help. His move on Norris (who's looking great in only his second race weekend) was very dangerous.

I still think that Mercedes can have a very strong weekend here. If they split the Ferraris then they can try and out think them on strategy, and see if any of Ferrari's fragile race management has continued from last season.

Did people say that about Verstappen?

Leclerc will win the WDC I think
Obviously unless Mercedes get the best car

Renault no longer best of the rest, that goes to haas. That ferrari engine working well here
Gasley isn't great
Mclaren did a great job

Nice to see Ferrari's are up there with the mercs, now we can have some racing! Great for Leclerc, hardly a suprise though, although all this talk of multiple WDC based on one qualifying session, calm down :p You would be a fool to ever discount Mercedes and Hamilton at any stage of the game...

I think we'll definitely see Mick in a Ferrari next year which will be great, I was a big fan of his old man back in the day.

Going to be a good race :)

I hope not. Putting a promising young driver into a top tier seat as a total rookie is a great way to ruin their career. The only time I can think of that that has worked out in recent history is Hamilton. Better to get him into a Sauber or a Haas and let him grow into a top tier role more naturally.

I agree, but I think Vettel will be out this year... I think Mick will be OK, well I hope so...
