I reckon if he performs well v Mazepin this year Ferrari will find a way to get him in an Alfa next year; probably in place of Giovinazzi
 
Be surprised to see Hamilton pick up the win from here - seems doubtful the hards will go all the way and I can't see him pulling back an extra pit stop worth of time
 
Alonso radio - The deployment issue is quite big.

Pit - Yup, copy that Fernando. We're aware, unfortunately nothing we can do. Let's keep pushing.
 
Hamilton pit radio - We'll increase that target laptime to the low 34's

Hamilton - If I do that I'm not going to make it to the end.

Normally, there's stewards info that appears when cars go over the white line at the limited corners, had nothing this race. There was some during qualifying, but nothing during the race.

So, yeah....
 
Why are track limits so difficult for race control?

Don't make it turn specific, don't make it track specific, just say if all 4 wheels go past the white line, you're off track. Done. No confusing briefings, no interpretation.
 
This track limits nonsense just seems like the stewards giving themselves work for nothing!

"you know those white lines at the edge of the tarmac? Yeah keep 2 wheels inside them!"
