Ah ok. Yes, I’ve never seen other drivers do that ever, it’s a first off for F1 :p! Obviously sarcasm.

Honestly doesn’t bother me in the slightest, again high stakes equals humans acting strangely :). In all walks of life tbh, not just sport. Doesn’t mean it’s great obviously or should happen, I’m not justifying it.

I have no issue with his racing style tbh, I like it. Few and far between who will actually go for gaps. I wanted Hamilton to win the last race but felt Max was the more deserving driver over the course of the season. The way it was decided was obviously horrible though. I also was at Silverstone and saw Lewis’s move first hand and still think it was more dangerous than any move Max tried throughout the season, due to the speed etc.

It’s swings and roundabouts. If people could have rational and calm conversations about it then that would be fine but many on here prefer to go straight to the gutter, at that point it’s not a discussion.
In modern times, can you share a video of a driver threatening to head butt a reporter for asking a reasonable question :p

Damn...

1. Something to watch out for - new F1 race director Niels Wittich has told teams that he won't be asking drivers to give a place back for gaining an advantage. Team & driver have to decide themselves if they're in the wrong and might be penalised if they don't cede the place...

2. Thus there will be no radio debate with race control. However if a team decides not to give the place back it can tell race control why and in effect state the case for the defence should the stewards decide to review the matter

3. The driver has to give the place back within a lap. Also as part of the racing rules discussion with the drivers Wittich said if two cars are alongside each other at the apex, the driver on the inside has to give room to the car on the outside

4. Room as in leave a car's width and not ease him off the road
