Band of Brothers Rewatch

BoB is my favourite of all time. I watch it yearly maybe multiple times a year. My wife got me the pacific on BR for my birthday last month, not got around to watching it yet. I'll make an effort to do both back to back starting with TP sometime soon.

Is it on any streaming/catch up?

I know I'm probably going to get banned for this, but I only ever watched a couple of minutes of an episode or two the first time.......

Ban.

I’m pretty sure it was HBO so it will be wherever you’d find their content these days. If your not subbed to whoever has it, it’s well worth the months sub alone.

If you've not seen 'Generation Kill' then I'd highly recommend that as well.
Yeah that was decent, if only a bit short. The smoke grenade always sticks in my mind. Along with wiping that small village off of the map.

If you have Sky I believe they have both BoB and TP for streaming.

Watched it a few times and this made me think its due a re watch. Always remember my dad getting teary eyed watching the scene at the end of an episode where you see all the planes flying in...they had no idea what they where going into.

One of my favourite moments and it's fairly light hearted is during their training in England. First meeting the old gent on his bicycle but then secondly when they cut the fence.

Don't know why but I've always found that bit funny

Is that when Ross from friends leads them on a massive detour? That part was hilarious as the rest of the company knew they were doomed.

I last watched BoB with the wife about 2yrs ago. War stuff isn’t her thing at all and she was absolutely hooked right to the end when she started bawling her eyes out from the final real life interview with a certain someone. Then I started too.

That's the bit. Then someone from the company does a good imitation of someone else.

I'm going to end up watching this again aren't I

@Martynt74 - I'd almost say watch it whilst you're on the turbo but it demands more respect than that.

One of my favourite episodes/set of scenes is the one where I think the war ended and you see the troops at the Eagles nest, navigating the sheer number of bottles of wine in that Generals personal stash. Just seeing them all relaxed, enjoying the little things. Loved it. Same with them playing base ball. Amazing scenery and feeling. Arrgh such a great show.
