Band of Brothers Rewatch

Bob still the best. I'm on my 3rd attempt to watch Pacific. Never really clicked with me on previous attempts.

Watching MoTA it's good, but I'm a aircraft nut so maybe get more out of it then others. It's not as strong as BoB. But that's ok..

Totally agree. In the same breath, Websters, "what are you doing? You have horses" outburst hits a nerve.

I always find Websters ability to not just blast that baker away right there and then very commendable.

God, it really is such a good show. Not sure if I will watch Generation Kill after. I’m in a bleak mode so it’ll be Chernobyl next.

HBO don’t mess around

Considering Webster, iirc, had a bit part early on (was he even in it before his Hospital exit?) and when he came back after hospital, and the troops snuffed him, he had an episode about him and had a few great scenes thereafter. initially, I didn't like the Webster story but after repeat viewings, he became a pivotal part of that company/ episode/show,. not sure which.

E: I laterally finished the series a day or so ago,. I could happily watch it again now.

I watched Pacific ages ago, and I can't remember a thing about it.

Totally opposite to my experience with BoB.

Will be giving Pacific another go, it'll be like watching it for the first time! :p

Webster was in the 506 HQ company on D-Day got wounded and then transfers to Easy in England before Market Garden after which he gets wounded again during the crossroads battle, which is why I guess he isn't about much early on
