News straight from Fergies mouth about Rooney...................he dont know how bad it is till they get back to Manchester and have a look at it.

Probably more to do with the reporter just asking about Rooney rather than the game, plus just seeing his side get a beating from the champions.

Fergie couldnt give a stuff about England in the WC, all he would be bothered about was Rooney next season.

I hate to say this, but well played Chelsea. On today's performance you deserved to be champions as we didn't ******* turn up. Cole's goal was a thing of beauty.

I was really really taken aback and impressed by Mourinho's comments post match, and my opinion of him has improved ten fold after he threw his winner's medal into the crowd. I was even more amazed to see him do it again with his second medal. I also have huge respect for John Terry trying to get into the Man Utd changing room to see how Rooney is, and he clapped Rooney off the pitch (Lampard looked like his was more a token gesture).

I felt absolutely sick to my stomach seeing Rooney go down, it really reminded me of the FA Cup game against 'pool. I really didn't give a **** if Chelsea scored five more after that, I was just hoping Rooney wasn't too badly hurt.

Our defence was an absolute joke today. Only Gary Neville looked up to par, Rio was losing out in 50/50s and Vidic was letting people run past him. Silvestre was diabolical and in general there was no tracking of runs or forcing players down the wing. We played like a half baked championship side today, and looked like leaking a lot of goals after the Cole goal went in.

All my thoughts are on Rooney though, and how this World Cup might just have been ruined by ******* Ferreira.
