You spelt my name wrong on the last quote though...
:)

Fortunately I possess an intelligence level greater than that of an ape, so I know when a debate has run it's course.

What more could there possibly be to discuss? Or would the repetitive nature of going around in circles be sufficient stimulation to keep you amused? :)

We can resume this when you've showed us a scanned invoice significantly lower than £200, for all of the required parts.

Classic.

When you've managed to spell and string a sentence together better than an 8 year old, you can start thinking about criticising other people's mis-spelling of your name.

When you've stopped quoting prices for Clio 182 parts for a 1.2 8v get back to me mate...you ain't all that...

I don't see why he should, i'm sure we've asked you for proof of things in the past which you've never posted, i do find it mildly amusing you're jumping down this guys neck so much. If you wanted to get proper prices for the parts then why don't you look them up, it takes two seconds, instead of trying to base them on 182 costs and factoring in a discount, what?

I wonder if this guys clio is sporting Michelin exalto rubber all round, perhaps you could tell us Mike?

I see your reading and comprehension skills match your spelling skills perfectly.

I will help you out here, if I was quoting prices for 182 parts, you'd be looking at £105 for the cambelt kit, £11.80 for the cam plugs/caps, £129.58 for the aux belt kit, £9.67 for a crank bolt, £27.42 for decent 10/40 FS oil and £3.43 for an oil filter.

As stated many times, the prices I quoted previously were guesses based on your car, not a 182.

I've repeatedly gone out of my way to provide proof when asked in the past, actually.

Glad your not getting me the parts mate...do you work for Halfrauds???
:D

Feel free to price those parts up tomorrow and report back with the prices including VAT. Gates/SKF are not offering an auxbelt kit yet and the cheap ones available online are shorter than they should be, so that came from Renault (I only managed 15% trade here), as did the caps and crank bolt.

How much would you quote for doing a cambelt on a 182 then? :)

Your the tech guru mate, tell me what i should be doing it for???

I'm no guru, but I can see what you've done. You've looked at those prices, and thought that looks far too expensive.

That is because it just is, not because you get stuff really cheap.

This is why it'll cost you £500 to have the cambelt done on a RS Clio without even going to Renault.

Just read that again, all this after you told me ebay was god and i wouldn't get cheaper elsewhere? When you were quoting for 182 parts...or was it 1.2 parts...you've changed tack so many times i can't remember...
:D

We swapped a head on a 2.0 VVT Megane Cabrio, with a new cambelt kit for less than that mate...
