The environment is set to be five times the size of Rocksteady’s previous game, and astonishingly, according to character artist Albert Feliu, the polygon count in one specific Arkham Knight character is bigger than that of the whole of Gotham in Arkham City. Maybe let that sink in for a minute, because it sounds preposterous.

More new screenshots revealed looking good for Unreal Engine 3.9 just shows you how good existing PC games could have looked if the last gen consoles did not hold them back :eek:

Oh dear rumours are its been pushed back to 2015 already :eek:

if this is accurate its seems strange they are giving up on 2014 with several months left surely it cannot be that hard to squeeze all this into the next gen consoles :rolleyes:

That is disappointing IF true. However, I am from the school of thought that I would rather a release was delayed rather than rushed and released in a broken state. You would think they would like a Q4 2014 release so that it can be 1 of the biggest Xmas games, but if that isn't possible then it isn't possible and would damage the brand if they released it with major game breaking bugs.

AC was released with game breaking bugs on both PC and X360.... Took them ages to patch it up.

As a game, it was decent.

As a product, it was an utter heap, and WB should be made to go back and finish it.
