Batman origins Benchmark

I think AMD needs new drivers. For the 2 indoor scenes with the prisoners I get 2 big lag spikes for the short moments the scenes change. and the frames for those 2 scenes seem to be much lower than the rest of the bench.

Gonna assume it's down to physx? I can try running without physx and see.

Try turning PhysX off :)

eh of course u can, just install physx :) I can only use normal mode tho and not high.

Ran again without physx, those 2 scenes (with guards) run fine.
Something about AMD/Physx doesn't like those 2 scenes indoors. I am going to assume those 2 scenes are more physx intense than all the others.

Yeah AMD cards just can't handle it as it will move to the CPU and then your CPU can't keep up with your GPUs.

Drivers won't fix that I'm afraid. Getting a couple of 780s might though :D.

 jus wait till i say the same with BF4.
"Nope aint gona fix it, buy a couple 290x's :D"

edit:
dont have newest physx installed >.< doubt it'll do much, will try.

AMD cards can do the normal physx. In most games it can do the full effects fine.
In all 3 Batman's (and maybe a few more) physx titles the higher end physx effects are simply disabled.
