*** Battlefield 1 ***

I'm loving this version of battlefield. I prefer an older time setting. Not much of a fan of heat seeking this, infra red sights this, night vision etc. Feels much rawer with the WW1/2 settings.

I play medic a lot too, and I cant say I've ever had the mix up with gas mask / needle bug though.

With regards to medics not reviving. It could be due to the fact they've swapped the needle gadget with a rifle grenade of some sort

Yeah me too, prefer the more older setting without all the modern day stuff.

I've had the gas mask, needle bug quite a few times though. Just loving the game in general, best one for me since maybe 1942/BF2 and i loved BC2.
 
Always 64 players for me, mainly because it leaves about 40 of them actually playing the game and not sniping.

I've had the gas mask bug but it think some of it was down to using the honeycomb Dpad on the Elite controller, most of the time it's been ok, only the slow menus and party bug where if you join on someone in a full squad you get locked into a squad alone and can't leave until room in the friends squad comes up.
 
Reading around people are reporting that class levels have dropped and the old class you were was bugged and not correct, checking I see my medic has dropped from mid level 8 to just under level 5.
 
I was unsure about getting this as the beta didn't seem to do much for me however from watching it since i have been really impressed! Seems like it may have just been a mix of solo playing and the map that i didn't enjoy. Hence I've ordered it. :D Got a deal for an Elite controller and BF1 for £124.99. Heard good things about the controller, needed a second anyway and wanted BF1 so a good deal all round. :)
 
looks like theyve added squads to the pre game screen too still trying to figure it out mind.

how do you rank your classes up quick?

I thought I levelled it fast. In under 9 hours I was already a level 10 medic. If it's been knocked back I don't mind.

ranking up classes is just points score.

So revive more, heal more, re-supply more, kill more, take more objectives etc..

Remember to have a squad leader set objectives constantly for free points for doing what you are already doing.
 
You can rack up some crazy scoring playing that way (which I always try to do). I was 8-12 yesterday and still finished top with over 20k points.
