*** Battlefield 1 ***

Just watched x's latest video on the tank hunter, wow, talk about OP :p :o :(

That shottie and the range, just sneeze in anyone's direction and they are a goner lel.....

What about the game play itself? How are you finding the "netcode", animations and maps?

Netcode doesn't seem horrendous, but because of the limited starting weapon choice, some classes aren't very useful on some maps yet.

Some of the new maps seem epic, but the behemoth can be a problem on some of them especially if it can cap all of the flags on a map or if it's on open ground, so it's hard to sneak up on.

We lost a couple of games where we should have stomped the other team last night because the team didn't make taking down the behemoth a priority (partly because they're brain dead, and partly because they didn't have a suitable loadout).

The light tank is still good, but the tank respawn timer is very long, so if the other team works together to take your tanks out quickly at the beginning of the round, your team is going to struggle for quite a while. I hated fast respawn in BF4, but this is too slow.

I was taking down tank hunters with ease last night, It was coming across the LMG hero in a dark alley that was my undoing last night. Basically if you get the drop on a hero, they're not that tough, in a straight duel, you're in trouble

That's still not bad considering it will keep you entertained for about 2 years and in excess of 500 hours! Also, any DLC released will be free in about 12-18 months but saying that, it's rarely worth it. The DLC for BF4 wasn't worth it at all.

Do you think it's worth holding out? I maybe able to resist until Christmas lol

Interesting that the twitch arselick brigade aren't limited to 10 hours. I bet some butts at dice have never been cleaner.

There was some kind of EA Play event that took place in London and they gave out free digital codes for the game come release. Watch out for these Twitch streamers as they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

They get a game for free, feel compelled to enjoy it whilst becoming a covert reporter for EA with incentives to grow their channel, ask for handouts donations etc etc

Twitch is toxic now, more than ever. Harder to find a genuine gamer who plays for the love of the game.

I find the best ones to watch have less viewers and therefore can interact more etc and seem more in to what they are playing

The sad thing is seeing the amount that some people donate, quite a few donate thousands of $... :o

And see that is why I hate that behemoth/ac130 crap, utterly retarded game mechanic now, oh dear, this team is getting trashed, lets give them a set of crutches to carry them to victory.

Can't get any kills, just go and pick up a hero kit instead.

You must have gone against really really really **** players who were heroes then :p Watch x's video, he has no problem taking on practically half the enemy team as tank hunter with that shottie :o

Just remove these 2 things and the game would instantly be so much better.

Yeh that's what I do when I want to watch something. Those with 30 viewers or less. :)

.

Some use Bots. I caught one guy out as someone donated $100 to a BF3 player and I recognized the donaters name and I sent him a message and he denied ever giving money. Same goes for viewbots

Any decent team will wipe out the dreadnought stuff without any issues, it's not hard. In all honesty there was no fun to be had camping the oppositions base not allowing them to leave due to the match being a walk over. That was tedious. They very rarely flip the match and the team that receives it wins, I think I have seen it twice in the 10 hours played. What it does do is slow the onslaught and makes it a bit more even which in theory is more fun for everyone.

Agree with you more about the Elites, they just shouldn't be there and more often than not are dealt with quickly.
