None except the Martini really. The sweet spot one hit body kill range is too far away on the rest for running about.

Stock sniper is really good, Martini is the most satisfying gun in the game, but it's level 10.

Just use the stock one until you can get the Martini. The sound it makes through headphones is sublime.
 
thanks for the responses, only got starter weaps at the moment, quite liked the medics rifle (i'm not great at reviving people - most seem to be complete lemmings running into tanks so far), found assault to be a little inconsistent - will give the shotty a try then!

Need to put a lot more time in but works been getting in the way.

I couldn't be bothered to level up sniper class with a bolt action so I just used that automatic gun at close range with just iron sights until I got to rank 10. I forget the name of it now, but I would have taken forever with bolt action.
 
Quick question fella's, I'm about to buy this and out of curiosity is this a HDR title for PC as i've heard it's got/is going to have HDR on the consoles so does it have it on PC?
 
I only use the sniper class if i get constantly killed by one,then i will actively seek them out and kill'em :)

TBH I'm still finding the game incredibly frustrating some of the time, but it's getting better. Started to rank the medic last night and actually enjoyed the role to my surprise. They're pretty dangerous at medium range and being able to self medicate helps a lot in a game where you're never more than a couple seconds away from your next gas attack. And the Cei-Rigotti can be hipfired in a pinch.

I still feel that separating medics, assault and support by the ranges they can engage at is not a good idea as it discourages a squad from sticking together. The medics should have the shotguns, and the assault should have access to something that works better at a medium range.

The vehicle spawn mechanics are also incredibly frustrating.

Is there even any rhyme or reason as to vehicle spawns? I've seen games where the enemy has 3 tanks trundling about, yet the most my team can have is 2 despite owning the flags that give you spawns.

The spawn time for them also seems random as hell, i've seen 5 minutes plus pass of one team having no tanks or artillery trucks. :confused:

I think the vehicles are just on a respawn timer based on the start of the round. I think there is also a limit to how many can spawn for your team at any one time.

This means that..
Tanks that spawn from base at the start don't respawn until the timer finishes, and if a tank is still in use when it's time for it to respawn, it doesn't spawn.

Tanks that spawn at the gimme spawn, spawn when you first capture it, but if you have 2 tanks on the go I think only one more will spawn (Max 3 on the go unless you've stolen an enemy tank0. Unlike BF4, I don't think the other team can spawn a tank at your gimme.
Also once you have captured your gimme, no more tanks will spawn at base until you lose the gimme again.

It then seems to get complicated if you keep on losing and regaining the gimme as I think it keeps resetting the gimme flag timer and the base timer. Which can cause a denial of spawn situation. The flags should show a respawn timer to make it clear what the situation is (Is a tank going to spawn at all, and if so when?).

On top of all this, I think the vehicle numbers are dynamic based on how many players there are in the server, so if the server is half empty you may be limited to 2 tanks only.

Don't take this as gospel, this is just my attempt to rationalise my observations.
 
Done 150 hours now and still enjoying it, class 10 on all classes. Only gripe is the starting weapon on classes are pretty good so kind of loses the importance of leveling up to unlock new weapons when i just use the default one.

I know I know haha.... I cant tell you how much I slated this games. I was brutal in a facebook group we have for TFU.... And few BF lovers haven't let me forget it!

They somehow managed a near great post release. If they can keep doing this then great! Just need to purchase the season pass now. Surprised some BF sceptic mates also say its a good game!

The vehicle spawns are strange.... I too have noticed sometimes they simply don't spawn. However, when I want a plane they're easy enough to get. But tanks are a lot harder to get as they're so OP they're hard to kill. Everytime I've been in a tank I have a KD of 30+ to 0.

Currently need 5 more vehicle destroys to get my medal... I love medals mwaha.
