Not holding my hopes out for any EA game after SWBF 2 now.....

ACO is what is getting all my gaming time atm.
 
Been thinking of getting this for ages and it's currently on sale on one of the key sites.

Wanting to get it as cheap as possible, is it worth getting the revolution pack over just the base game?

Does the revolution pack add any thing to the game other than skins which I'm not interested in?

Revolution adds all 4 DLCs too I think?
 
Playing the campaign and I am getting very bad motion sickness. I tried turning off motion blur and increased FOV to 90 but I'm still getting sickness. I do not get motion sickness in any other game. Any fixes for this?
 
Is this game supposed to be cpu heavy it eats mine i5 6500 at 3.2 GHz(after doing all the tweaks runs like crap otherwise) whereas my GPU runs at 70-80% gtx 1070 at 1080p resolution scale 150%. If I moved up to 1440p would the gpu end up doing more of the work instead of the cpu
 
Yeah it is very CPU heavy, the game needs more than 4 treads to run well. Given that you are already using the res scale jumping to 1440p probably won't make that much of a difference as the game is already probably running at nearly that res anyway.

Just my experience but with a OCed i5 and a 980Ti at 1440p the game was unplayable due to the FPS drops at times and not even a g-sync monitor could make much of a difference. I ended up getting an R7 1700 and that solved the CPU bottleneck with BF1.
 
I’ve just started playing the campaign and loving it. Just waiting for my fibre install to happen later this week and will try online.

You suggest I get a better CPU then i mentioned this in a other thread but they said buy a monitor at 1440p
 
Anyone know when the last DLC is coming? i am getting bored of waiting and want get to 140 rank i love the grind i do :)

New maps are nice i just cant play until they unlock the ranking again .

Really? I play 1440p on a i5 2500k and a 970gtx with a gsync screen mixture of high settings game certainly looks decent not the low for pro settings most run that makes the game look like its on a ps2. Games stable as hell for me. 99% of the time im way above 60fps.

I mainly play offensive medic I enjoy running 50 meters into a war zone and sticking a ***** in someones leg to insta revive them. In the heat of the battle and CQC my game is very playable. Im no bf pro these days my eyes and reactions are gone as im an old fart now. But still I can easily get a 2.0 K/D playing a medic who does his job in the thick of it.
 
Yea I run the game on my Sandybridge i7 2600k clocked at 3.6ghz with a Evga 1070 at 1440p running pretty much max everything and runs like a charm.

Maybe those extra threads make the difference...

As for the game, I don't notice all that much difference since the weapons got 'balanced' personally.

They need to look more at team balancing particularly on 32 man CQ, they need to implement a more aggressive balancing system, even one that switches squads mid game or remove more vehicles for the winning team. Maybe even multiple behemoths?

I've seen teams losing badly and the behemoth turns up with 20 tickets left they need to sort that.
