While my points aren't as good as yours I swear every single player I come across is a complete idiot as the only time I die is when I get shot/stabbed in the back.

It reminds me of primary school football TBH. Everyone rushing at the ball.

Sometimes I'll just hold a base on my own and my entire team cant get it together to get one more objective. All they need to do is take a step back and flank round the island but no, everyone just fights on the front line.

My high points are a result of sneaky tank tactics.

I keep infantry at arms length and when i'm down to 60% health I hold back with the dpad and reverse while steering with the left stick.....hide behind my tank while repairing then roll back in to town. Due to the lack of flanking going on its pretty solid technique. Stay in 3rd person all the time until a target has been aquired then pop in to first person for the kill and straight back out.
 
I find this particularly annoying on iwo jima! nearly all the team rush to cap the flag on the mountain and then just stay there and try to snipe. The amount of capping I've done on that map simply by flanking is unbelievable.

There is a worringly low ammount of brain usage but makes for easy points though! Im a great fan of sneaking up the path at the back of the mountain, making my way into the largest building at the back and lobbing grenades out of the windows. Its fairly dark in there and so long as you are carefull you can have a wail of a time before spotted. Anyone having issues connecting this morning? I was kicked earlier on * and now cant even connect to EA.


*Yes I do have a job but im not in untill this evening :p

i always try to capture the flag here first as its the highest point on the map and as they say always take the high ground first , i normally enter the pill box and help my fellow comrades below
 
What is the highest rank number available in this game? Also what contributes towards rank increase? Score, kills or both?

I am level 18 (Staff sergeant bronze?). Just wondering if a list and a cap exists anywhere.

Anybody know what level you get 5 stars at? I thought that was the highest but I've noticed some people have some kind of insignia on their 5 star ranking.

Finally got the 'Be in the best squad trophy'!

And also another rant about the voice chat (PS3)! It works sometimes, cuts out a lot of the time then gives up most of the time! Sort it out DICE/EA!!!
 
Anyone else reckon this game is a bit baws when trying to setup a private match?

Its far simpler to join a random match, and invite peeps to join your squad, and then wait for others to leave...
 
I stopped playing it too, it's pretty **** to be honest.

Wish I never bought it! 2142 on PC is infinitely better, this is far too stripped down.
