That's hardly fair! Hope they get it sorted soon. If you're at work and have access to a PC, can't you download the backup files or whatever Origin calls it?

very secure setup here with all the goverment contracts we have. That and I am on a thinclient. Most useless machine I have ever seem ROFL. Sooooo slow, cant play YT vids and disconnects due to faulty software on the server.

This is a bit risky considering this is still pretty new and BF4 hasn't exactly had the best PR over the last few months with all the problems.

Installed & played for a quick tester & no probs it ran well even on my old System (Q6600,4890 & 4Gb of Ram), Got Noob raped.

Think we can have some serious fun with this game though & by the looks of how many Privates there were on the server it should be quite busy for a while. :cool:

3 mins? sounds short enough to run an cat5 cable down the road xD or maybe just download at his/copy his bf3 install file from origin?

Crikey, small wonder they are giving this away for free. I cant connect, im getting punkbuster errors.

Maybe the game is worth finding a solution?

I've followed the instructions as they were given. This included installing pb, I added bf3 to the list on pb. That's about it.

Download PB.Exe & run it.

I'm sorting my GFX drivers out. It ran sweet but had a few Black lines here & there.

Blow that, its stopped working again, at least I got to play a bit of a match!

Not having any luck downloading the game. It does a bit then complains of a download error. Currently at 21% but it's stopping almost immediately so I'm not making any progress. Any ideas? I checked the Origin site which said to restart the client, which I have done.
