**Battlefield 3 Patch - Let's get to the bottom of the problems**

1. Intel i7
2. EVGA 570 GTX HD
3. C:
4. Retail boxed
5. Win 7 64bit
6. Crash to dekstop (seems a but more stable on Medium settings) / EA Disconnects

This cannot be hardware related. There has to be a problem with the coding of this game due to the amount of people having issues and the same issues!

Dice need to get this fixed, this isn't acceptable!

was deitely beter before the patch. ive just started to get the black screens and EA disconnects in last 1-2 days. Never in the 3-4 weeks before!

Is there a solution for the micro stuttering yet or are we waiting nvidia to come up with some decent drivers?

Its the same type as what we see on the internet vidoes.

I've got a GTX 470 with the latest nvidia betas. Problem only on MP as well.

I can't answer the question as to if it has been fixed but I can tell you that putting more RAM in cures the problem, I bought another 8gb to make it up to 12gb for pennies and it made a massive difference, no more stuttering!

Overclocking the GTX470 helps too as on standard clock the FPS isn't amazing. I overclock the core to 820mhz on max volts using MSI after burner and its awesome.

I have 8gb of ram already. Most of it isn't used.

I've checked FPS and its fine during the game. this micro stuttering is something to do with the drivers.

well after todays patch still not good,i cant launch my campaign it says "something went wrong".

still takes forever to get into a game.

battlelog isnt showing ping and theres hardly any severs live...

most games are lagy when i get in them...

I fixed my problems with constant punkbuster kicks disconnects.

To cut a long story short, I had re-installed my OS since I first installed BF3 (Games are on a seperate HDD to the OS). It worked fine until the patch but something in the patch went wrong and I kept getting kicked.

I tried uninstalling BF3 but then Origin wouldn't let me re-install it (the install kept crapping out), so I re-installed Origin but still had the same problem (BF3 wouldn't re-install)

Next I uninstalled Origin but then noticed there was still data at c:\program files (x86)\Origin and d:\games\Origin games - the second is wherever you tell origin to install games to. I deleted both these folders, re-installed Origin, re-installed BF3 (11GB download!!!!) and connected without problems.

TL:DR - Uninstall Origin, delete all remaining Origin directorys (game and installer folders), re-install Origin, re-install BF3

Now I'm getting this. :/

still takes forever to get into a game.

Mine never use to until the patch yesterday and the above.

[Edit 1] I've checked for corrupt files, it says all files are fine and up to date. I'm starting to really hate PC gaming between bloody AMD and things like this.

[Edit 2] Ok so Multiplayer works but Single Player does not.
