10.10 preview 3 + Offical CAP 4. I get no BSOD at all. The only time my game locks up is if I change a graphics setting. Which is a real pain.

Haven't had the chance to go through the whole thread but turning off hyper threading helped the micro stuttering

are they 1gb cards? how are you managing ultra textures if they are without freezes when you look left and right?

i get it on my 5870 until i drop textures and shadow to high and it's the same on my brothers 5850 CF,

Totally agree,

getting great performance 80-200 fps with those settings + 2X AA

All other settings on ultra. HBAO off.

I may turn off HT tonight as the stuttering is annoying me. Other than that, loving it with my GTX580 at 1920x1080 all Ultra, 2xAA, High Post AA, HBAO

i turned it off and at foirst i thought it had stopped the stuttering tho its was still slightly there i thought that was just lag.as we know theres lag in loads of these games.

but its still there it was doing it again last night but in some games its very minimal...

I dont stutter or struggle at all with MSI AB running in the background. Might be down to drivers then :confused:

I could try putting on V-sync and see if i begin to stutter at all.

In BC2 it could cause a crash with looping audio, some people are experiencing the same in this,

I can move around freely, no lockups/freezing etc.

no it's ok i found out what it was, if you use 2xaa with those settings it will stutter

A cure for this was to go into the afterburner directory and rename the file RTCORE.cfg, then restart afterburner. You do loose fan speed monitoring in the osd on nv cards, not sure about ati's.

everyone elses machines seem overkill compared to mine, will eventually put in sig but here:

AMD 965 @3683.22MHz
Palit GTX 465 in SLI, stock (will get round to flashing to 470s eventually)
BF3 set to ultra, around 75fps(max), never dropping below 55

for me yes,
high shadows and textures.
everything else at ultra
no deffered AA,
high post AA,
motion blur off,
16xAF,
HBAO,

average 50fps on caspian in the forest which i deem to be most stressfull on a 64 man server.

Has anyone been kicked out of a game just BANG back to desktop?? it's happend to me twice now and do not want this to keep happening as i loose all my points :mad:

I have just downloaded 11.10 and does seem better but I have most of my settings on medium no AA no HBAO Textures medium and i stiil think it looks amazing and smooth in most parts but not all, how you guys are running on max settings on one card ?? i do not know.....

what kind of fps are you getting as you system is near identicle to mine as my ram is also at 900mhz but i have 1 5870.

I must say my 1090t and 6970 rig, although getting less fps runs this game more smoothly than my stuttering i7 920 and 580 rig.
