But people miss the point taking a days leave is to relax.

whether that's playing golf, going fishing, watching your favourite movie, why is taking a days leave for anticipated game of this year any different.

So on that bombshell ..SEE YOU ON THE BATTLEFIELD... HOORRAH

The definition of holiday is infact; "A day free from work that one may spend at leisure" not a period of time one must spend abroad etc

Saying people have no life for taking a day of work is pathetic.

As others have said, I find it hard to believe you (the people that said it) have never taken a day off work to just relax at your own leisure. What's the difference?

I've got days I need to use, I'm not planning on going away, and I want a day off! To suggest I 'have no life' because of that is bloody ridiculous! In fact, because I HAVE a life it actually means that taking a day off is the best chance I'll get to put some proper time into this game! I'm busy all day Saturday, out on Sunday night with someone, then working all the next week.

I agree, people said the same when I took the weekend off for Fifa12. But considering it was my first weekend off in 2 months and just so happened when fifa came out. Doesn't make me sad. It actually made a decent weekend out of nothing. People are quick to judge. I bet they wouldnt say the same if someone took the day off to do a rally course or something. People enjoy different things..

It's just people getting on a high horse so they can feel better about themselves. Quite sad really.

Oh well. BF3, YAY! I'm ridiculously excited now. I wasn't going to bother with the VPN thing for SP, but I think I will now.
