I have just followed the Ravens proxy instructions but I am going to wait until confirmation that it works.

BTW for those of you that are trying to use the VPN by using the proxy through the control pannel.

I just failed with this maybe i done something wrong but when i checked "whats my ip" it told me it was set to that of the information above but yet when i connect to my minecraft dedicated server thats not running on my computer but hosted in germany, the logs say my regular BT ip.

minecraft uses it's own network protocols and ports, the proxy setting is only for http/https which origin seems to communicate over. Firefox will probably show your original ip address as well.

At 1600 GMT today it will be midnight in Korea and the game will be released for them. We are hoping by using VPNs or proxies we can fool the release date checker in to thinking we are in Korea and therefore unlocking our games

Because it's release day in Korea (in 10 mins) and the activation works based on your IP location, ergo

what makes you think you will be able to play after unlocking with you're own ip?, what if it expects you to play with the vpn ip....

I am not getting the game until Friday so, if you want, i can come round and 'service' your wife. It will give you more game time.

It's a release date check but after it's unlocked it won't need to check again.
