i was worried this game would ship in a bad state when playing the beta, but gave it the benefit of the doubt coming from dice...
.

But the game has not shipped in a bad state. It is not up to EA/DICE to make the graphics drivers.

The game is working flawlessly on single GPU setups.

But yeah, go and sell your eyefinity setup and go buy it on the XBOX.

LOL

Well a little over 3 hours in and WOW, this game is everything I'd hoped for in a BF2 sequel. I've had no issues at all, and it looks fantastic and runs a lot better than the beta on my system. i7 at 4ghz with a 5870 at 1920x1080 ran 35-40fps all maxed out, however I like it to be as smooth as can be and vsynced at 60fps so I just put everything on high and low AA and it runs at a solid 60fps, really responsive and fast how I like it, and it still looks magnificent!

Had a few games on some 64 player conquest maps but a couple of servers were a bit laggy, so I switch to the {SAS} server and had some really awesome rounds, teamed up with Gizmoy for a couple as well. Great stuff.

I set my focus on support and just managed to unlock the mortar :D

DICE to “Possibly” Ban Accounts Using VPN to Gain Early Access to BF3

DICE has drawn the line in the sand regarding PC gamers who are using VPN (Virtual Private Network) techniques to gain early access to Battlefield 3 through EA’s Origin.

For those using VPN techniques to gain early access to Battlefield 3. DICE has this to say. “We strongly advise you do not use VPN. You can compromise the security of your account.” When asked by some fans if it is indeed possible to have their accounts banned, DICE responded. “If your account is related in suspicious activity, quite possibly.” Daniel Matros weighs in as well saying that though “it isn’t illegal,” DICE highly advises “against doing it and [to] instead wait for the launch day of your territory.”

If you are curious about the exact date and time of launch for your region, please refer to our earlier article, Battlefield 3 Launch – Server Admin Manual and Unlock Times for PC Pre-Load.

DICE might be just blowing smoke as the players who “violated” the terms have purchased the game legally. Our advice is too either mask your IP like a boss, or just wait until it’s available in you territory.

While you wait for Battlefield 3, read up on some of these interesting articles!
