If i start playing this with VPN now and then remove VPN on Friday will it have any effect on which servers i can join etc? Or do i just select Europe in game options

If youv'e unlocked the game, drop the VPN otherwise it'll leave you lagging and your internet running slow.

It should only be used to unlock the game.

I would sell my key to BF3 if I could.

Takes numerous attempts to even load the game, either crashes or server disconnects. Maps are nothing like a true sequel to BF2. The user interface is rubbish frankly. The sensitivity is too high/low for certain vehicles, no option to adjust. Servers that can't handle 64 players, tons of features missing, etc.

What are my chances of getting a refund out of EA do you think?

O-k.. the games not even out in all regions yet so im sure a lot of your issues can be solved with a patch. in terms of the map and general 'features missing' i guess thats personal preference

Perhaps you should give the game half a chance before disposing of it.

ensure you fire up battlelog with origin. Also, clear your browser cache if continues to happen.

Well just played my first match (and lost!) but it was awesome. Since running the beta I've got a Q6600 and it is running brilliantly now. Can't wait for tomorrow to get some more done

ensure you fire up battlelog with origin. Also, clear your browser cache if continues to happen.

Cleared browser (Chrome) cache and i'm launching from Origin but to no avail. Still get the "Your account is not allowed to login" message. poop.

Guess i'll have to wait for multiplayer then...
