Hey guys, I asked on the platoon groups if I could join one of them and sent an application but it would appear the messages got deleted? My name on it is 1nhumane and was hoping to join ocuk 3 just because it has more people in it.
 
JGStonedRaider was complaining of bad lag on the ocuk server tonight, never seen him so far down the table. I've had 20 bad lucks today and they were all on the ocuk server, from jumping off small rocks to ejecting from straight flying jets.
 
Was chatting to a mate and was discussing which we would rather, a 1942 remake of some sort or 2142. He was firmly siding with 2142, I'm really not sure. There is something awesome about having controllable warships and massive bombers with fighter plane escorts, but then hover tanks and walkers in 2142.... also titan.. hmm, I honestly couldn't choose between them. What do you think?

Dunno if it was me or just BF having a bad day. Was fine earlier tonight but just then the LAAAAg was insane. Was kicking butt in the heli then gone...disconnected.

Not had any problems since new CPU so i'll put it down to BF.

PS cheers Neil. You looked like you were just jumping all over the map whist in the jet...most disconcerting

Would have to be 1942 a real classic maybe because I preffer WW2 games :D
 
Is anyone else getting some wildly fluctuating pings tonight on this? I've been messing with QOS on my router for the last hour to test to see if my housemates are just battering the internet connection but its still the same :S

A few reports of Lag tonight even on the best of servers!
 
I really cannot understand why support class players don't drop ammo packs at choke points and at various points around the map and ESPECIALLY when they see a group of 2 or 3 guys. I mean bloody hell, it's like FREE POINTS! Drop one somewhere and it shows up on the map. Drop one somewhere and people will run over, even if they've only fired a clip or two, just in case. I mean, seriously, who doesn't want free points?!!? I once chased and shot at someone for 5 minutes on a server, danced in front of him spamming Q, shot him, stood in his LoS, saying in chat i wanted ammo and including his name and he didn't drop a single ammo pack until I died. I would have been quicker suiciding and spawning back in. Really GRINDS MY GEARS!

Medics I can understand if they have M320, but support ALWAYS gets ammo pack. Drop them, get points, profit. It's not bloody rocket science!

And breathe......
 
Some people are just crap at the game mate lol! Hard to understand but some are! I drop health packs and ammo packs everytime they are off cooldown!

I be home in about 45 mate if ya up for a game!

It appears mine was down to something on my network really hammering the upload. I've MAC addy blocked it though so im back down into the 30s for ping.

New issue though, DX related crash whilst scoping on metro. I had this a while back and it appeared to solve itself, yet now its back. No idea whats causing it either. Completely hardlocks the system either when the game crashes or when I go to shutdown if its still usable after the crash.

Anyone had the same or similar issue?
