Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Ive noticed origin/bf3 always goes down when i work a night shift, so just a forewarning im also working tomorrow night but sunday should be fine =oP

Ps usual not fair i wanna play

Same the standard of players on matts server sometimes makes me wanna smash my PC up! People are so bad or so blind and there's high ranks on there that just have no idea what they are doing! Was on canals earlier for about 5 minute got in gunner seat on a tank and it took some quiet high rank guy about 3 minutes to drive out of the base! Embarrassing!
 
Just noticed the highest ranking BF3 server thats "OCUK Friendly" isnt even in the list on the first post ..

Can someone add it please

 
Ok, so after months of deliberation, I decided to buy my first FPS for PC.
And, having COD for my ps3, I decided to go for something a little different in BF3.
Since I dont play FPS on PC, I find the keybindings atm a bit weird still, and i'm as slow as hell in game.
My question is just to see, how many people are using the default keybinds? Anyone change their keybinds, if so what do you play around? I guess it's a personal touch on keybinds, but I would just like to know who is using what, and if for any other reason than personal choice, why.
I presume most people are using keyboard and mouse too? Have read some people buying like, xbox controller and using that for PC, but i'm not interested in doing that.

**** it. I'm installing bf1942 again. There's still 100s of servers to choose from.

lol, minimum spec 500mhz p3.

Feeling old though. The copyright is 2002 :(

most of the people using xbox controllers use them for flying because the joystick support in BF3 is poor.

As for key bindings, just about every FPS player will use the WASD layout. its universal. The only other set of bindings i'd seen was somebody who used the number pad keys, because then they were all square and lined up which made things easier for him apparently.

If you manage to find a punkbuster update for it please let me know tired playing it but always get pb kick :mad:

This tbh mate. Punkbuster has done more to screw up legitimate gamers than it has to catch cheats. Not that ea/dice care, they just reset stats..
