Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

How can I find this profile?

I tried playclaw - doesn't work. Plugin fail. Newer TS3 models break this feature apparently. My version is pretty old though.

I tried Overwolf - As expected it complained about 32 bit and even when running 32bit TS3 it wont bring up an overlay.

I tried looking for an iPhone TS client - No luck finding the ipa.


I didn't fiddle about too long though so maybe the above two options can work. I'm sure it won't take me long to get used to the voices but shortcuts are always good.


EDIT: I've got the TS3 one working now. The default DX overlay plugin needs to have BF3.exe profile set and it comes up on screen.

I assume that people on Virgin Media still get rubber banding on Matt's server? Just been on and it's awful. Can shoot people fine but when you want to run somewhere then it feels as though you take 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
 
quick question for people using a 1.5gb gtx580

What FPS do you get on ultra at 1080P
Seen one for a great price (under my original budget of £300)

Ive had a few peoples input on this (reliable sources of info :) ) but just want to hear from some people with 580's (1.5gb)

what res at 1980 it like 50-55 fps single player

Yep virgin are dire. I cant use it in the evening on any server. Have to switch to the crappy 2mb adsl to get a decent connection.
 
have you checked your hops to the servers ?

i ask as last summer the was a issue with a lot of virgin customers but not all where as soon as peak time they were routed all over and our ping on bops would go from 30 -140 :(

havent had this myself though on bf3. been perfect

Not at my PC now but from memory you go into plugins menu and then select 'Direct x overlay plugin' and click 'options' (or was it settings). At the top of the dialog that comes up there's a selection box with dozens of profiles and in there sits a bf3.exe profile, which works. I didn't download anything for it to work, apart from the latest 32bit TS3. I'd uninstalled 64 bit to get overwolf to work.

Randomly turned round and slotted me (in the same squad) and I was like "WTF?!" he just replied with "Cheat".

I wasn't having a particularily epic round, I think I got to 8-0 before I died but if you look at the final score its hardly amazing.

I can't believe that they're announcing new DLC with the game in its current state!
Cheating/hacking is endemic - and they're improving their cheating plugins now, as they now seem to have bullet protection from being TKd, too!

I've had this ***** bookmarked since mid December...

He was the first "insta-headshot kill through infinite barriers" cheat I encountered.
I've reported him numerous times and I know many other people have, too.
He had his stats reset back to zero in mid Jan and, again, reset in the last 24h.

Why haven't they banned this hacking cheat?!!
It just means he has started again.
And he's not exactly subtle about it - look at his last 3 games...

I've lost all respect for DICE and I had none left for EA.
It's now like the CoD-MW series - they take your cash and ignore the issues.

Does anyone else think that the OCUK user and battlelog player MissileMoose should change his forum and battlelog name to Mooseolini or Mussolini?
 
Dice have always avoided the issues, there is nothing new there. Cheaters don't bother me that much, I just fine another sever.
