I'm not sure what you mean......I'm definately not still bitter about spawning next to Helier whilst trying to defend B a few weeks ago. Spawned and got my tags taken...........

Not bitter at all...............................

I'm still gutted mine got taken, for the first time in 2 months or so, by some random, who left before I could take his... winds me up even more when I kept shooting and killing him when he didn't notice me, hence my opportunity to get them back was hampered by myself :mad:

Ahhhhhhh there's nothing quite as bad for your score as a good ol revenge rampage.......even worse when "you/I" **** it up....RAAAAAAAGE

just changed saturation to 1.5 some say 1.5/1.6 is best

also tried it at zero so its like normal. upto you really. think ill use it for videos and such and wait for a final finished version . must say though am impressed

at end of day upto you i personally got fed up of waiting for dice to fix the issue of msaa and i know it could be done better. now trying this its like night and day difference along with a fps boost lol .

i dl latest one

you just extract into bf3 folder and away you go.

my avg with all high now is 70 fps and it look better than with 4msaa on

ingame turn off you msaa though

I downloaded this a while back but chickened out from using it.
I couldn't work out what the punkbuster implications would be should they decide to ban it. Would I get permanently banned from pb servers, or would removing it allow me to play again. Would i get a warning kick that would tell me to remove it? Would dice announce ahead of time that it was going to be banned?
I couldn't find any good answers and didn't want to risk my account or reputation.

I think dice got it totally wrong with their choice of colour palete but seeing as it was a deliberate choice I don't see them changing it.

I might try adjusting the colours a bit with ccc but then I think that would apply globally which wouldn't be great

Most people use the FXAA injector because the default colours are so washed out :rolleyes:
You can configure it to be how you want.
 
Just used the injector and it has improved the image 10 fold. The game looks better than it would maxed out with MSAA with no performance hit.
 
Thetinsnail tis a big difference some maps look twice as good but clearer aswell.

im glad ive tried it and i will just wait till theres a official comment from ea/pb now. apparently ggc said its fine but pb not said anything yet.

its annoying as for a lot of people this would be a big deal may even save them buying a new graphics card. at my normal settings all high msaa on i get 60 fps constant but with this on im getting 70 minimum and more like 80 fps and thats with the seemingly better graphics.

for those who are on 30,40,50 fps this would make the game so much more playable and enjoyable.

so its gamble or wait but you might wait for ever :(

Ok i'll try it. If we get banned we'll all get banned together so at least i'll have some friends to play on non pb servers with.

Now if only work would end so I can go home
 
It's been out for months and not been banned, a bit like the old 2142 widescreen injector that was never confirmed safe, no one ever got banned for it though.
