Stop defending a feeble point! We get it, if a cap point is under attack, we can choose to spawn at the uncap. This does not negate that fact that the spawning in BF3 is poo! Oh look, a flag is under contention, let me spawn there to help out. Oh wait, I've been spawned at the end of the enemy's tank barrel so I'm dead before my screen has even faded in.

the BF3 spawning system is pretty simple.

If you spawn on a flag it has about 5 or 6 different points it can spawn you on, and it just randomly allocates one of those.

If it spawned you too far away from the flag it would be spawning you out in the open, and if people randomly spawned in front of you in the middle of the map, people would rage even harder than the do now.

I think the current spawn system works just fine tbh. Spawn on a team mate, and if one isn't available, you just have to accept that if you spawn on a flag under contention there is no way to guarantee you spawn on a flag under contest, but away from the contest.

Matt you really need to remove rockets, grenades and mortars from your server.

Then no they shouldn't be removed. Play the game how it was meant to be played. Explosives play a very crucial role in dislodging campers who would otherwise be impossible to remove by rushing them alone.
 
Rob the developers are ****ing useless. I can't stand people who will sit at the end of a bottleneck and fire rocket after rocket in the gap hoping to get a few kills. The only effective way to kill them is to use rockets yourself which I hate doing. That is not how infantry battles work.
 
Thats like saying you can't run SLI 460's as it'd run smoother than someone with 1 x 460, thereby giving you an advantage.

Hell i'm normally ragged and can't see anything anyway.

Its just FXAA that works as opposed to the Post-Process AA supposedly

there is a difference between changing the speed at which something is rendered and changing HOW something gets rendered.

It's a slippery slope, one minute you just changing colours...the next you might alter the palletes of moving objects compared to static ones for instance.. Maybe drop the foreground altogether?

As DG stated, it is basically a clarity hack.

not like you gunna aim better instantly wed need a scar for that

being able to spot your opponent (faster) is what the hack gives you... The scar neither lets me see objects in any way than standard like for everyone else, nor does it improve my accuracy.

It pretty much was on Mission Afganistan yesterday, andf they werent even in a chokepoint it was out in the open. The taliban opoened up with withering small arms and then the UK guys really bricked it when the RPG's started flying around and brought out their own (what looked like) recoiless rifle...

But then that didnt work, because neither side could shoot for %%%% so they called in an Apache and used the cannon and then a hellfire missle to clear out the talibans..
 
Rpg's fired into the trees was a favourite tactic of the nva and vietcong. The rockets exploding in the branches increased the amount of shrapnel. Leading to splinters of wood being turned into projectiles as well. And unlike the metal parts, the wood fragments dont show up very well on x-rays.

clarity hack wtf lol :D i never said that. its a fx injector there are loads for other games like skyrim and other games . all it does it make it like having msaax4 or sharper but without the performance hit. its not a hack its just how it works it could be detected as a hack.

the scar bit was a troll lol

To draw the insurgents out so that we can hit them with OP stuff like apache's etc...

Trollol, me and this scar have seen a lot of action together. I know just how to use it to full effect. But having said that im equally if not more adept with the AEK and another which i forget and thats using iron sights for the time being...

Scar-H is pretty badass. It's is actually phenomenal from mid-range with a grip and heavy barrel, for a carbine at least. The only major drawback is ROF and small clip size, but if you know when to reload the latter's not a problem.

Do you know how FXAA works? It's a filter that's applied to the entire image, you can't pick and choose what parts to change, all it does is change values like the saturation and RGB levels for the entire scene. It's post processing it's not like you can make cheats with it.
 
I just installed the FXAA injector. TBH, I liked it better before with just regular FXAA and no MSAA, but I'm gonna leave it on for a bit to see if I get used to it.

I'm a bit worried about getting hit by PB for this. The readme to the injector says don't play on anti-cheat enabled servers! Anyway, it also says to uninstall just delete the files. If I run into problems with PB because of this can I just delete the files and everything will be okay again?

Edit: also just a warning, FXAAI will make it so that you can't use Afterburner.
 
I use the scar when im an engineer with an acog. I like it but its recoil makes it hard to control.

True, but with one shot bursts it's quite manageable. I'm using the Kobra sight on it now because I don't find it very much easier to aim with the Acog/3.4 sights from mid-range and I like the quick draw ability of the Kobra.

It just says that because it's not officially allowed, it's been used for months and no one's been banned.
 
Words can't describe the utter ineptitude of some people. I don't want to live in this world anymore!
Some very iffy tank driving on our team there. They never left deployment. For the whole round most of our team got boxed in by the enemys tank at our main base.
