I was controlling the server on my own before, now i have some help these rules can be better enforced.

Thing is he was racking up higher scores than el crinkleshoes and faster. I was watching. He killed me what 12 times in 15 minutes? At least half head shots.

But then a day later it was back to.me killing him 1:1 again.

I don't know if he's mates with you guys or what but I don't complain a lot about hardly anyone but for me it was extremely suspect.

I actually have a spare motherboard Raider should you be interested. P5Q DH Deluxe. Its a pretty old socket 775 board but in its day it was one of the best or so im led to believe.

Thank you Matt, very kind but i've ordered an AM3 board off ebay that'll make do until I get mine replaced.....the no BF3 shakes are now receeding.

Guys bit of a noob question. When I got this I tried the single player and didn't care for it much. I am told the mp is a whole different beast. Are there noob friendly maps in mp and will I be placed with noobs to learn my noob trade or is it straight in the melting pot?
 
It's pretty much into the pot, mate :)

Best advice is to join a squad when you get on a server, and follow team-mates around, to get a feel for the ebb and flow of maps. I've played 100 hours, and I still get lost on Seine Crossing and Operation Metro, 'cos I don't really play them :)

Probably play 32 - 48 player servers at first, as well - if you go for 64 players there'll probably be too much carnage for you to pick up what's going on.

If you search battlelog for noob friendly servers im sure you will find some. Word of warning though quite often pro players will join these servers looking for 'easy kills'.

If you wish to join a bunch of us in a server and on voice comms you can do so here. Its a hardcore server so it will be a little bit more difficult than a softcore server but we are a friendly bunch (well most of us :p) and always welcome new players to join us in the server and on voice coms.

I'd also like to give honourable mentions to these two servers, both softcore servers and perhaps better for a new player to start on. One is stock maps the other is back 2 karkand maps only. Take your pick.

Do a search for [SASS] servers. They have one that is for Rank 25 and under only and another for Rank 34 and under. A lot easier going for new players.

I only picked it up a few weeks ago and it's been fine.

I went straight into Matt's hardcore server where there are a lot of OcUK players in the evenings - the standards very high but you'll learn very quickly because of it.

Get in a squad, get on TS, get killin' son :D

edit: for the record, i've only played 15 minutes of the campaign. This games is ALL about the mp
