Do a search for [SASS] servers. They have one that is for Rank 25 and under only and another for Rank 34 and under. A lot easier going for new players.

Since when has rank been any indication of skill or knowledge of the game ?

I only picked it up a few weeks ago and it's been fine.

I went straight into Matt's hardcore server where there are a lot of OcUK players in the evenings - the standards very high but you'll learn very quickly because of it.

Get in a squad, get on TS, get killin' son :D

edit: for the record, i've only played 15 minutes of the campaign. This games is ALL about the mp

This is by far the most important aspect of learning. Voice comms

Your OcUK team mates can verbally give you advice and pointers and help you understand how the game works. Plus you can take the routes / tactics they do and learn more quickly because of it

I actually have a spare motherboard Raider should you be interested. P5Q DH Deluxe. Its a pretty old socket 775 board but in its day it was one of the best or so im led to believe.

If Raider doesn't want it, I'd happily take it as I want to OC my Q6600 haha! It's only taken me about 4 years

Feel free to add me as well, user is T3nzo

(excuse the leetness of name, someone kindly used Tenzo - which never gets used, which makes me think I did it and forgot)

Ya i guess TS is pretty useful for creating clientside lag...

tbh any voices are probably just going to be a distraction anyway, id just find a server and get on it for a couple of hours a day. Find a gun you like, use it upgrade it and keep trying to get more kills than you are dieing...

I'm the opposite to you then :p

I find it far more fun speaking with my friend while playing and I don't care about my K/D ratio because I spend most my time experimenting (and trying/failing to fly jets :D)

Thats easy for you to say now, what with you being a colonel.

But I found it very helpful when I started playing talking to others and learning from them etc..

All that means is that you don't know how good it can be to learn and share with others over comms rather than learning by yourself

Being a colonel now myself, I just get on with it and generally do alright, and can understand why comms might be distracting if you just want to get on and play. But for newbies it's different.

Correct :)

The OcUK lads use team speak 3 I believe

Ooooooh yes and until my PC is back up and running, I'll just have to pop into sa hello via Android.

OK. I've got a headset but I assume TS is teamspeak. Never used that before so shall google it now

You got it, there's some great banter to be had. But if you do want anyone to give you tips, the guys on there are great.

Just ask any of the guys to give you a hand for a few rounds and you'll be well away. i would but Mobo died on Sunday.

Mr Raider has ordered a MSI 870-G45 to get back to the battlefield until his ******* other one is RMA'd and replaced (with something better cross fingers)

whys ts gunna cause lag ?

were not in the days of dial up now :p

ts or any voice coms is better than no voice coms 110 percent. i cant believe people still in this day and age havent or dont take advantage of it .
