Didn't enjoy my time on server tonight,i pop on to see the lads and what do you get,M320/RPG fest,now call me a moaner if you like,but it's not very enjoyable which is what supposed to be a team game and all you get is rambo players wanting easy points

surely you have played BF3 enough to know that Metro will be a rpg and m320 fest on ANY server that does not ban those two weapons, you simply have no choice but to join them or take it on the chin. first thing i do when metro loads is swap from medikit to m320. It is not like that on every map. Teamwork is strong if you are on teamspeak, as you are ALL talking and having a giggle. taking 3 man tanks and communicating as to where the bad guys are. Also you won't find cheats or glitches getting away with much

I got used to the 'all weapons can be used however you want' rule, i just had to slow my pace down and be more careful, as well as the fact it's Hardcore mode too.

Edit: Matt, keep it on 48 players, it's better than 32 and 64 players.

Can 'veteran' players give me some insight into Rush etiquette (I never played BFBC, only BF2) for example:

1. Long range sniper only mode, where you're not allowed to approch the MCOMs

2. You must wait until I've armed it, then come and try and disarm it

3. No M320/USAS around the MCOM

4. No claymores

5. Certainly, no C4

These are not admin messages, just chat abuse when you break 'their' rules (even though 'they' don't have admin rights).

So, does Rush mode have some special legacy from BFBC that I'm missing?

I thought the objective just was to attack and defend.

It is, but different servers have certain rules/modes they make up.

I see the odd hater moaning about this and that.... but serious gratz dude!!

yeah its going really well, had loads on teamspeak over the weekend, and im proud to be a mod on the server, its a great community matt has setup

I've never enjoyed gaming as much as now. That's mainly down to finding a great bunch of guys to play with on the server who can both take it seriously and PTFO at the same time as loving a mess around....3 x C4 tanks anyone?

Metro last night was a laugh on matts. Only round of bf3 i had last night but it was done in troll style. Frag round shotgun and m320 all they way to mvp2, you jelly

It should state the rules on the server name and through admin messages, if not, then i would assume the game mode runs as normal.

Why mention me , I have no problem with rpg/m320 or any of the other weapons....

I was talking about people not using jav when I clearly told the entire team I had a soflam up, twice infact. This was on the beach and construction yard

as for spam this and that most of the people who cry on servers do one of the many other annoying things like drive round in a tank constantly raping a point or whateverr . just get on with playing its a game take it on the chin have a laugh

last nights metro was funny we had a very bad team so shotgun on storm the sides a m320 to clear path. sometimes this is needed for any chance of our team if not pushing to make them move up. i dont get why like on bizar some people will camp at spawn ave a go at least !
