I ignore the mini map out of choice, it has no place in hardcore mode!
But they're all after my tags now!!! Mini map has saved me countless times!
I take it the Artic Pedo Bear name had to go?

Is there a reason you seem to relish using the M320 on Matts server?
I know you seem to think that HC pub play is for noobs, so you want to have fun by just ironically spamming the 'skilltube', but many of us genuinely enjoy the HC experience, and dont have enough spare time to play in a clan. Matt's server is the only real server I can get what I want from the game - a decent, well administered public HC server with people I know, that I can get onto whenever I have a couple of spare hours. I just find it a bit galling that you often treat the same server just as somewhere to unleash a style of play that you openly admit is completely annoying for other players, because you find it fun and think genuine serious play should be reserved for SC clan games - without realising that it really diminishes the experience for some of us who dont get as much time to play and so are looking for a decent regular server to enjoy.
I know it's a bit much to be looking for a bit of alturism from the gameplaying community. But sometimes, despite having some genuinely good gaming moments with you, more often than not I cant help feeling a bit dissapointed when you join the server just to spam the alleyway on Bazaar with an M320.
I was on the 1PARA HC server @ Bazaar last night, and there was non-stop moaning from one guy in text chat - "rpg noob", "m320 spam" etc. The usual.
Moving to Oman, I spawned @ D, which was getting capped by an APC - popped RPG out, and came upon a Ruskie - so popped him. I fire's what I got's, amirite?
Anyhoo, he starts moaning "RPG from 10 yards - pathetic". I lol'd, and moaned back at him when he hammered me in an APC from 10 yards.
Just checked his stats. **** has got 800+ M320 kills

Pff, thats nothing i have 3,000+ kills with the M320.

while i do prefer to play properly what you must understand is people on the kinda servers that a lot frequent are kinda noobish and most of the players use these exact styles when on there.
i can go on these very servers and the exact same players will camp do the same low crap every round in same spot. yet when i choose to do a similar style back onto them they dont like it
this is the whole joke of the matter.what makes it even more funnier is on matts which is run well is some think they are very good but team stack camp harder than a vet in nam and get ratios which they seem to think makes them good players.
getting in a teamstacked side in a tank round after round on strongest team and saying i played well is lower than ******* like i said last round i just played on there. thing is a lot of people understand why i do it and get it some dont and cry
also i dont only play with m320 look at my stats and weapons ive nearly unlocked everything in weapons. so a bit of m320 is just for fun to disslodge the camps cause i know without looking the same people are camping those corners going for high death to ratio for bl epeen

But some of us prefer that style of play that comes from a hardcore server. I dont particularly care that you think standing still or spending time behind cover (which is basically the definition of camping for most people) is lame or noobish, it's the more realsitic style of play I (and many others) prefer. I dont really like SC mode and being a bullet sponge, I prefer the intense feeling I get from moving between cover from flag to flag, and knowing that how I position myself is as important as my aiming skill. So I spend what little time I have for BF3 playing on a decent HC server.
If you dont, fine, but why be so openly blatant about going onto an HC server with the sole intention of ruining other peoples experience with M320 spam just because you dont like their preferred sryle of play? If you dont like the slower, more "campy" playstyle you get on an HC server, why not just not join it and leave those who do, to it?
Im not really having a go. I dont mind the M320/RPG, but when people use them as primary weapons, especially in the way you do (seemingly with the sole intention of annoying those whose playstyle you dislike), its quite frustrating.
the PS3 has only ever had one patch, and it got that substantially later than the PC did.
The one week early thing only applies to DLC, not to game updates.

its not playing the game same as shooting a m320 at the very same people
so your game is no different that is the whole point ! some see it some dont.
for instance i go on bizar like just now 3 tanks or vehciles shooting directly into our spawn . that isnt skill its low . what do you want us to do in this situation ?

Metro for me has become m320 country. Its suited for the map i use it freely. I didn't pay £'s for the game so that some random **** tell's me what i should use.
That was a heck of a long game. Was great till one of the opposition decided to camp. Though he didnt get staying up on the crane for any lengthy period. I spent the entire time running around the map, got to the point were my fingers were sore. Pretty enjoyable just using the M40, only unlocked it yesterday, 60 kills with it in that round. Took months to amass 100 with the SV98. Certainly helps the look of my rather poor recon score.me and setter played some blokes 2 on 2 for like 2 hrs lool snipering so funny
