I don't understand all the hate with Metro. It's easily one of my favourite maps. It's so easy to accumulate masses of points with little or no effort whatsoever, and you don't even have to shoot anyone doing it.

I agree with others that getting killed by M320's and the USAS gets annoying very quickly, but that's partly down to you're own bad play is it not?

Everyone knows the M320 hotspots by now on Metro, and yet still people flock to them like zombies. It's quite funny to watch, and then revive, and then watch them RUN BACK TO THE EXACT SAME SPOT THEY JUST DIED IN /rinse-repeat.

If you come away from Metro with a -k/d you're doing something very wrong.

There's one problem with that point ck88. There is no avoiding the choke points that are spammed with m320, usas etc. There are only 3 paths from tunnels to ground level, ALL get spammed to hell and back with m320/usas, and all are very close together. Covering fire doesn't work, because you can't even see the people spamming anyway (which is why they are so popular in the first place)

You make it sound like everyone can just choose to avoid the m320 spam. That is impossible on metro. :)

I got M320'd 3 times. Most of my deaths were from TK's. :(

It can be avoided.
 
Lol DG until you said check out my stats i never realised how much you do actually use the m320! Its your top weapon followed by the USAS!

While personally i have no issues with people using any gun in the game as its up to them but i would still think of some weapons or actions as cheap ways to get kills and points but thats just my opinion (shared by many i would assume).

I can see how it angers many!

I do find it funny though how you think sombody who is hiding behind cover is cheaper that m320 spam!
 
why is it my top weapon yet again you fail to realize :p

cause i liked to play metro and bizar mainly on matts if i play on there it was to use that on every other server i very rarely use it if ever unless a metro only server ;)

like i said before people sit back camp my own team doesnt push what do you do sit with them or sluaghter push up the other side until we do .

you know that certain player is there and 4 others are camped not bothered about whether they lose or win they just want a k/d ratio thats good. so out comes the m320 messes up there plan :)

just played like 4 rounds tdm win every round not one m320 fired :p its not that i cant play with out them its people dont just see how bad hc is and understand sometimes that just having a laugh is allowed.

anyway stop the m320 tears i already told you i wont go on matts no more so just carry on getting vehicle whored (so ironic its comedy gold )
 
No offence was intended DG was meant as a little bit of banter. Maybe i hould have put this at the end =oP lol no tears this side bud, well not for that reason i have tears as i still have a week to wait until the internet is connect in my new place!
Oh and congrats on the 4 rounds =oP

Sorry mate, but I find it quite difficult to read your posts. A bit of punctuation etc. would help. I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere in the forum rules too. Nothing personal of course, just thought I'd point it out.
 
Metro last night on Matts server was an utter spam fest.

Cant say it was fun.

Absolute pain in the ass trying to get up the stairs or escalator but not impossible.

On metro, i just go as assault or support, garner as many points as possible through ammo supply and reviving/healing. Any kills i do get are a bonus, still die an awful lot but im well used to that now.:D

Too be fair, the sqd I was in were just having a laugh with USAS+frag and 320's. I have pretty much left the 320 alone recently.

HOWEVER I still think it's a fantastic weapon!!! If 5 guys wana stand next to each other with no spacing, they deserve to be 320'd
