Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Gentlemen, please excuse my naévity, but how do I join a specific server?

I can search for servers, but nothing comes up when I put in the IP address. I also don't see anyway of joining a specific one.

Thanks in advance.

That's the 1st time i've ever had anything like that, it doesn't even tell you what happened. :(

Also using my mates Origin account so not paid a penny! :p
 
3rd place out of the UK sounds pretty good :)

The DAO for medic seems pretty easy to kill with


I dont mind a challenge, rank 1 is fine and Ive just taken lots of enemy guns if possible. Mostly its the scope I lack and the theres a nice full auto Glock 17 handgun but I dont think I found it that more useful

Very bad connection here and a half decent rig, but still do terribly. The amount of lag and banding of late hurts my head when trying to play. Seeing some of the great warp jumps people do is pretty funny though.:D

Feels like a 2 second delay at times. Even though it's not but by god it feels long. So infuriating ducking behind a wall, or running for it and making it then you collapse.
