That's the way of it, but tbh I would still play AK and BtoK if they hadn't disappeared off of all the good servers. I'm really bored of the vanilla maps and would like it if there was a decent conquest server that rotated all of them (and maybe a 32 man one that did metro and CQ). Everyone would moan about their traffic dropping though, so that won't happen
yeah i agree, we found that you just could not mix the two on a server without killing it!
with BFBC2 they just released maps that fitted in with the sizing, DICE/EA should have done that, instead of these dlc's just released a map a month that ran and fitted with stock...

If you could run vanilla, AK, B2K 64 man conquest, and 32 man Metro and CQ conquest, I'd be a happy man.
Do you reckon it's the search filters pushing traffic elsewhere or because people just don't like the dlc maps (or don't have them)?

for whatever reason if you run a dlc (not so much b2k) and stock you miss out on traffic... LT knows more about it, but i tried having metro and cq and it just died switching between the 2, maybe joe public did not like it as we do
its becuase people dont want to pay for dlc
this is why dlc never works if you run servers
server wants to stay busy or high ranked
most percentage of people have the base game. server needs to stay popular so caters for largest player base . dlc is slowly faded out after a month because player numbers drop and players go back to normal as the orignal players only have that anyway.
said this as soon as dlc was first announced .
only way dlc will work and stay properly busy in bf3 is to make maps small and heavy scoring like metro (this is why metro is fav map)
atleast it keeps people interested in the game though
