Going to play some Aftermath tonight and try and get 100 hours played (not all in one night).

I did play it non-stop during the Alpha and Beta stages, but not so much when it was released, more than likely lost the enjoyment a bit by avidly playing the Alpha and Beta.

Iirc, you only need an assault score of 38000 to unlock the M26. It's a pretty early unlock for the assault class.
 
Couple of good rounds on metro as assault and you wont be long in unlocking the M26. To get the slug ammo, you need 30 kills with the M26. Canals tdm is a good map for using this weapon. You can rack up quite a few kills at close range in the maze of containers.
