iirc, When I last re-installed, it did the base game first, then started another download for the DLC, so that's probably why is saying 20,385mb.

Your're not missing much anyway imo.

Endgame not upto much then? Saw your battlelog feed entry, seems to be a very mixed opinion of it on forums.

i got 300+ service stars in jet and am fairly decent... joystick is more confortable but mouse keyboard is a lot more precise and aiming is a lot better then joystick...

its all about speed control and maneuvers.. bind space to +pitchup and use mouse to roll nd make fine aiming adjustments...

m+k is a lot better!

I have phases where i get bored of the game and dont play it for a few days. Then come back to it. This is looking likely to be my longest break from it.

So apparently my whole account has been banned for violation of FIFA 13 ToS, a game I haven't even played properly in months. Looks like the "your account is logged in elsewhere" message I've been getting when logging in to origin has been a hacker using my account to play FIFA on. I've just paid for Sim City the other day as well, I've sent an email but tbh I doubt EA will lift it as they will just expect me to make a new account and buy the games again

I cancelled the option to download the 4gb patch by mistake but cant seem to find how to try and download it again. Tried in Origin but its saying my game is up to date? Didnt realize the 6gb patch last week was for a patch i thought it was endgame!

Log out of Origin and log in again, it should start automatically.

Yep, it will start automatically. Ive just been looking on my second system, got a second bf3 account on it. Currently sitting at 20gb, (rarely used account so never updated it). Gonna run the download on that rig, let it reach the 34gb mark. Copy the files to an external hdd then bung them onto my main rig.

I tried logging out of Origin but still doesnt seem to be updating. I have tried joining an End Game server and it logs in but just hangs on connecting. Cant understand why it would even let me login if i dont have the expansion pack installed?

My 2mb connnection hates these big patches

, my fibre cab was installed last week just waiting for the bloody power to be sorted out to it and i'll be all over it like a rash!

Have you tried right clicking on the bf3 icon and selecting repair install/update. Also when you right click, click show game details, scroll down to the list of expansions and try repair install/update on the endgame icon.

I think the Motorbikes should be a lot damn faster, but still, they are pretty fun to ride.

Whats people opinions of the maps so far? Out of all the expansions the only maps i actually like are the Original ones and CQ, hated AK

Your welcome.

Hopefully i should now be able to play tomorrow evening, handy that the game was installed on the other rig. Still a bit to download, but a lot less than what id need on my main rig. Heck, i might take the gpu in sig and whack it into the other machine, (i7 930).

yeah i thought it was the DLC i was getting the other day, log on to play tonight and another 4.2 gb download starts up. Install folder now up over 30GB :eek:
