I last played just after the earthquake DLC (forgot it's real name :() got released. Never actually used the SKS last night so I don't know what it's like, I was just lamenting a general lack of skillz :p

If ur health is down to 60-70% then of course a sniper rifle should be able to take u out!! Otherwise the class is of absolutely no benefit whatsoever and all snipers may as well sit on the hill with an LMG and 6x scope or worse still a shotgun with slugs like in BC2.

Agree with most of this. The sniper is my least played class. BC2 just had that better feel and immersion when playing as a sniper than BF3 does. I can't quite put my finger on it, but BC2 does "feel" a lot better than BF3. I thought the classes were a lot better balanced in BC2.

BC2 always felt more of a 'warzone' than anything ever has in BF3. While I love the expanded mobility of the player in BF3 (hurdling fences, climbling up onto obstacles etc, the game just doesn't feel as good as BC2 overall.
 
After 20 mins playing End Game i can see that the maps are very pretty but the motorbike is a big disappointment, I was hoping Dice would have used the handling direct from GTA for some awesome flips and spins but actually it's more boring than a quad bike :(

I want to play BC2 but for some reason I just keep loading BF3 thinking that once, just once, it's going to be great...yet to be satisfied. BC2 thread dead since February :( when is BC3?...
 
Game is broken, its like DICE have broke the game on purpose, in order for people to get to move to BF4, so they can milk us more.

I have never in this game played a total of 20+ matches and won 1 or 2 before....And the others that I have lost, I lost by a couple of hundred points.

Unbelievable badly balanced game, probably the most unbalanced multiplier game I have ever played.

Truly shocking...I just started to leave the servers now, as soon as I see the ticket counter. Quits at 31%, should get to around 50% in no time.

Because i'm still living in a fantasy world where BF3 would have been a sequel to BF2 ;) and each time I play it I hope that it will be :eek:. Can't play anywhere near as much as I used to when BF2+BC2 were the main BF game and now usually play for 20min - 1 hour stints and it just seems easier to spend a little time on BF3.
 
BF3 is still a blummin' good game, I play it still because I really enjoy it (and because my BF:BC2 copy is on the Xbox :p)

By the way, does anyone have a quick and easy method for getting MCOM arms? Wanna unlock the PP-19 Bizon :(

Its been like that since the start as a team that actually works together and has a few good squads will decimate a team of lone wolfs. I went on a 2000 ticket metro 64player server about a week ago and my team was being spawn raped due to the enemy holding all 3 flags. I made a squad with people complaining about people not pushing up, so we just ran for it down the far right side. Managed to use a spawn beacon as recon hidden near the part that's under construction next to the train to give us a backup plan and we ended up taking B then A in succession as a squad, then the rest of the team took C and pushed up to defend B. We ended up winning by over 400 tickets.

If you really can't win games, either join a different server or be a team player and promote team play on the server you are on and see where it gets you.

Search for a server with 0 players but allows match start with 1 player?
 
Anyone been getting constant disconnects after a round has ended?

It started last night and has continued this morning. There are quite a few threads on the BF3 forums popping up about it now.
 
Yeah I had a few disconnects when connecting to servers, "You were disconnected from EA Online (1) ERROR"

I just waited 10 minutes and it went away. Very annoying though as it dced me mid game when it started.

I've been wondering, have I ever met any of you on bf3? My names Creomortis.

Yeah was getting that a lot earlier, the game also would just give me a black screen.
 
Played a fun game last night after about 6months of not playing it, but even on my new 22mbit it still suffers the same ***

) Killed around corners
) RPGs that explode in a room full of enemy units and do nothing
) RPGs that seem to dissapear, if you've died before it was fired
) Fire on enemy units getting a lot hit markers only for them to turn to you and you're dead in one hit
 
Hi I have the news you require....

So..........All server of 32 man and OVER will crash every 2-6ish rounds due to EA's blaze server. The Blaze server is what connects us users to the servers.

EA has gone full Simcity on BF3. I recommend that if you want trouble free games stick to UNDER 32 man for the moment.

I run a 48 man server but have had to put it to 24 man for the moment....I am 11th in the queue to get in :'(
